It was clear that the Princess was nervous and happy over the decision made by her brothers.
While in the other hand, her brothers are worried that someone amongst the consorts may try to harm the Princess during the journey. They had known that Princess Vitaire is rather naive and since she has never left the Kingdom nor left their side, she has never seen the harsh world outside at all.
They had feared that she would be deceived and get hurt, hence making this decision indeed has made them worried more unduly than they ever have.
Although one of their trusted mate would be accompanying Vitaire, both the Princes still could not rest assured.
Princess Vitaire has never been far from her borthers, and although she knows that both her brother making this decision was hard for them, she had not felt any happier than she ever had. She has seen the world too little and know not of the world outside of the Kingdom, she felt that she have to help her brothers to build a better Kingdom for the sake of the people. Moreover, she craved the knowledge of the outside world and also to see and feel things she has never had before.
The Princess also knew that she has always been naive but she had a strong heart and a pair of eyes that can almost see through the heart of a person. Therefore, she was often easily able to avoid people with ill intentions.
"Your Highnesses, is everything prepared? It must be tough making such a big decision for your dearest Princess to leave your side, is that right?" a voice came when they left Princess Vitaire's chamber.
"Right, it is. But I believe that Vitaire would do the task just fine. Lionel Griarch, Magic Knight 1st Quarters." Prince Erdhart replied, not being shock by the voice.
"Lionel, how is the preparations coming along?" Prince Garcle asked.
"Please, if it is your command, it shall be done with honor, Your Highness." Lionel replied with grace.
"Lionel Griarch, how long are you going to be with all that formalities?" Prince Erdhart was irritated.
"Yes, it is regrettable that I am just a low-ranking Knight, Your Highness. Please do not bother yourself with me without formalities. It is unforgiveable if I should be treated as a even to your Highnesses." Lionel replied.
Vitaire was annoyed by how the Knight was behaving.
"You! Such impudence! You were commanded to dispense with the formalities by Prince Erdhart. Yet it was ignored. How dare you ignore Erdharts' command! Do you have a death wish?!" Vitaire was unhappy how the Knight did not behave how he should to her dear brothers.
It was a silence after Vitaire had shouted those words to Lionel.
Then all 3 of them burst into laughter, leaving Vitaire with a lost look.
"Princess Vitaire, please forgive my rudeness. Magic Knight of 1st Quarter, Lionel Griarch at your service." Lionel spoke.
"Vitaire, don't mind him. He's a friend. He always do what he would. It wasn't intentional. We are always like this." Erdhart said, still laughing.
"Do not worry, he has no ill means. But beware, many women cried because of him." Garcle stopped his laughter and said seriously.
"Alright, you are forgiven since my brothers has pleaded for you." Vitaire still quite upset.
